The main purpose of the Job:
The Sales Consultant will be responsible for driving revenue and meeting sales targets by pitching Envi Africa Life solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, society schemes and individual groups. The focus is on cultivating robust relationships, comprehending the business requirements of stakeholders, and presenting tailored solutions to address those needs.

- Job Objectives
- Execute a sales plan and budget for each individual Broker/corporate client by product and class.
- Discusses new business opportunities, issues and concerns with the Sales Manager / National Manager on a daily basis.
- Develops and maintains good relationships with Brokers through regular contact, regular communication, and excellent service delivery, which becomes evident from an increase in new business and retention of renewals.
- Analyse, interpret and initiate corrective action on large losses and loss ratio
- Ensures that new business / renewal closings and endorsements are correct as per quote given, ensures that the company is not overexposed, and ensures that all debits are raised timeously.
- Assisting Claims Negotiators with policy interpretations on settlements of claims when required
- Liaising and assisting Credit Control with collection of due and outstanding premiums

Job Experience:
- 3-5 years Long-Term Insurance experience (Individual & Group Funeral & Life products)
- Minimum 2 years Funeral sales experience
- Minimum 3 years within the Financial Services industry
Education:
- Minimum Grade 12 (with relevant experience)
- Tertiary qualification (advantage)
- FAIS requirements based on DOFA date.
- RE 5 (Compulsory)
- Industry related NQF 5 – 120 credits (Advantageous)

- Key Responsibilities
- Candidates must have an existing network and call book that they bring to the role.
- Understand the Group Life and Group Funeral products and solutions offered by the organisation and keep up to date with industry trends and advancements.
- Initiate a plan of action to target identified group stakeholders to effectively create interest in proffered solutions.
- Identify and contact potential groups through various methods, such as cold-calling, networking, and referrals.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets as set by the business.
- Market Research and understand the sector with the aim to grow it with firm business analysis.
- Create and Build New Clients and grow existing clients.
- Provide end to end Business and Customer support to both existing and prospective customers.
- Successfully navigate the policy administration system platform to exhibit business solutions with finesse, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process, displaying a deep understanding of the solutions, and resolving possible issues in the process.
- Provide product presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders, showcasing the benefits and features of the solutions.
- Generate quotes for stakeholders using the policy administration system platform and manage renewals to retain clients across the annual contract period.
- Strong Presentation skills that is influential and persuasive to deliver to key executives and on management level.
- Administration and Systems:
- Compile weekly and monthly reports as needed for all the activity on the portfolio.
- All administration functions required of the role including excellent presentations and slide deck to group Clients.
- Networking and relationship management across the business, products and corporate in general
- Manage all action leads received and create own leads through marketing and business development initiatives.
Additional Requirements:
- Own a car and willing to travel to clients where applicable.
- Training and Facilitation Experience advantageous
- Ability to travel easy to Sandton, where our Office is situated.
- Fluent English and most African languages
